Haaland joins Clash of Clans for a soccer takeover

Erling Haaland, the formidable Manchester City striker and Norway national team player, is taking over a whole new field – or should we say village. For the entire month of May, the soccer field is coming to Clash of Clans. Take part in themed challenges, use limited-time troops and spells, and even add your own Haaland Barbarian King hero to your troops.

The record-setting soccer star has been converted into a Clash of Clans Barbarian. During May, get his legendary Barbarian King character as a cosmetic in the store and see other Clash characters like the Archer Queen and Grand Warden get the soccer treatment with themed kit cosmetics.

In battles, these players deal massive damage to your opponents’ villages with their trusty soccer balls. And if you want to lean into the soccer theme even more, you can even turn your village into a pitch with a special scenery cosmetic.

Throughout the month, compete in a series of custom map challenges featuring Haaland, including raiding his village. You can also collect Golden Boot Medals in events full of soccer-themed temp troops. Climb the leader boards along with fellow soccer fans to earn rewards, and enjoy huge discounts on special items during the event.
